world aids day

today is the “world aids day“, the international day of action on hiv and aids which takes place every year on 1 december.

“in 2005, over 3 million people acquired hiv, which means there are now over 40 million people living with hiv and aids. despite best efforts from governments, non-profit organisations and healthcare practitioners around the world, hiv and aids is still having huge global impact”

the “medecins sans frontieres” launched this film bringing this awful disease back to our minds.

there still exists no known cure and many young people don’t think about it. aids and safer sex became a barely mentioned topic in our society in the past years. don’t forget about it!
