“alright, this is just very strange to me. i was checking out the tbwa blog, and came across this ad (top image) from tbwa france. once i saw this ad titled “cops”, i immediately thought of the cannes grand prix winner for vw by ddb london (bottom image).

what is tbwa trying to do here? it’s not a spoof because a golf polo is hardly in the same class as the 300z 350z. everything is the same except that this time the cops are protecting the car except being protected by it. i don’t know what else to say. what do you think?”

parody, inspired, copied, spoof or just another chapter of “comparative advertisement” – maybe tbwa should work together with “ihavenoidea“.
