a friend just sent me the link to a spiegel online article called “no love for google” [pdf].

many users where “blinded by love” for google and excused some frailties of google sweet-tempered in the past. by censoring search results at www.google.cn a global discussion broke out about google’s “don’t be evil” attitude.

now some initiatives evoke a “mass breakup with google” and demonstrations for valentine’s day of yesterday.

by joining hands with the chinese government in its propaganda efforts google gambled away its bonus of sympathy. read on …
